The majesty of the Arizona mountains and desert influenced all aspects of our Home2 Suites project in Scottsdale, AZ. Conceived to be a part of a larger mixed-use community, this 4-story hotel was uniquely designed to accommodate for harsh desert conditions. Exterior ornamentation and openings were specifically designed to provide additional shading, ample protection, and respond to the project’s surroundings. The project’s material palette successfully balances its prototypical standards and the need to create a sense of place among the large mixed-use development.
